A Different Keyshia In New Video
Keyshia Cole. Some love her and some hate her. While many relate to Keyshia's around-the-way-girl persona and tales of heartache and heartbreak, others dismiss her as a Mary J. Blige clone. I would be lying if I said Keyshia doesn't remind me of a young MJB but Keyshia is her own woman. A woman in transition. Her latest album, the aptly titled A Different Me, is reflective of Keyshia's change. Her latest video, 'You Complete Me' is a far cry from past videos. Keyshia is genuinely happy and it shows. I'm no fan of the song but the video is worth watching. Check it out.

The Latest On Keyshia Cole
The artwork for Keyshia Cole's upcoming release, A Different Me, has surfaced on the net.  According to her official website, all the songs for the December 16 release were written or co-written by Keyshia with production by Ron Fair, Polow Da Don, the Trackmasters, The Runners, Kwame and Neffu. The album's lead single 'Playa Cardz Right' features a posthumous appearance from Tupac. Rappers Kanye West and Nas are also featured on the album. Atlanta native and fellow songstress Monica joins Keyshia for a duet. With 3 albums and a hit reality show under her belt, Keyshia is venturing into the movie business. The 27 year old Oakland native is developing a movie based her life. Am I the only one who thinks the making of a movie is a bit premature?

Keyshia Is Back With Reality Show
The First Family of BET is back. Keyshia Cole, her mama Frankie, and big sister Neffie are returning to TV with the third season of 'The Way It Is.' The hit reality show is set to premiere in mid-November. BET isn't good for much but 'The Way It Is' is a stand out show. Wouldn't you agree? Personally, I can't wait to see what Frankie is up to. Season 3 features a summer and early fall update on the family. In addition to the reality show, you can expect a new album from Ms. Cole. A Different Me hits stores December 16.

Keyshia's Mary Moment
Yes, Keyshia Cole is having some sort of 'Mary moment.' The around the way girl from Oakland is doing like MJB did back in '99 and getting rid of all the drama. Keyshia intends to "lighten up and have a good time" for her third release, tentatively titled The Love Album. In a recent interview, Keyshia revealed "I’m just focusing on the subjects of love that make you happy. I just wanna switch it up a little bit. That’s all.” Has Ms. Cole found the love of her life? Has she reached a place of happiness and self love? I'm not sure, but I hope this new and improved attitude translates into good music. It's obvious this new attitude has blinded Ms. Cole from the dire realities of this country. Keyshia wants to sell a million records during the first week of release, doesn't she know this country is facing an economic meltdown? Keyshia, times are really hard and $15.99 is hard to come by nowadays. Keyshia's third album will hit the streets during the upcoming holiday season.
