Get In Tune With Tony Williams
The soulful voice behind many Kanye West hits is emerging from the shadows with his debut mixtape, Finding Dakota Grey. The 27 track mixtape gets my stamp of approval. Without a doubt, you should download it immediately.

Rapper's Delight

Video Patrol
Here are two brand spankin' new music videos for your viewing pleasure or displeasure, I'll let you decide. The first video comes from Kanye West. The latest 808s and Heartbreaks video is for "Street Lights." The second video, "Mrs. International," comes via rap duo Red & Meth and special guest Eric Sermon in support of their recent release, Blackout! 2.

Has Kanye Lost His Mind?
I was a fan of Yeezy before his debut album, College Dropout, dropped. I was anxiously awaiting for him to drop his debut while he was grinding out beats for Roc-A-Fella. Lately, I've been wondering about his sanity. Most of his behavior & words are questionable, at best. In the new issue of Complex magazine, Kanye announces that he will change his name to Martin Louis The King Jr. A combo of Dr. King and his favorite designer, Louis Vuitton.  The Chicago native demands everyone "address me as such." In the words of Jay-Z, "Fame is the worst drug know to man/It's stronger than, heroin."

Kanye Covers VIBE Magazine
A much older looking Kanye West is gracing the upcoming issue of VIBE where he declares 'I AM RAP.' Believe it or not, this is Yeezy's first solo vibe cover. The Feb 09 issue also includes a piece on the conflict for producer J Dilla's legacy and an up close look at the making of Notorious, hip hop's first biopic.

Is Kanye The Next Marvin Gaye?
As you may know, Kanye's forthcoming album, 808s & HEARTBREAK, is a far cry from previous releases. Kanye, who has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, is flexing his vocal ability on 808s & HEARTBREAK. One of the best MC's in the game decided to give up on rapping for a minute. The blame lies squarely on T-Pain and the auto-tune craze. Leery fans like myself can listen to the album in its entirety for free on Yeezy's Myspace page. 808s & HEARTBREAK drops tomorrow, November 24.

History In The Making
In the aftermath of a historic election, a Jay-Z track titled ' We Made History' has hit the net thanks to Kanye West. The track is a subtle ode to Barack Obama's victory. On the Kanye produced track Jay spits " Where are you victory? I need you desperately/ Not just for the moment, to make history." "We Made History" is expected to be on Jay's upcoming project The Blueprint 3.

"I say f**k the police, thats how I treat 'em
we buy our way out of jail, but we can't buy freedom
we'll buy a lot of clothes when we don't really need 'em
things we buy to cover up what's inside
cause they make us hate ourself and love they wealth..."

Kanye Premieres Video for 'Love Lockdown'

The 2008 VMA's were highlighted by Kanye's performance of his new joint 'Love Lockdown.' In the hours that followed, that's about all anyone could talk about. Some thought the song was a stroke of genius while others hated it with a passion. 'Love Lockdown' found the Chicago rapper actually singing, well sorta. Nowadays, everyone is a singer thanks to auto tone. In an unusual move, Yeezy premiered the video for 'Lock Lockdown' on The Ellen Degeneres Show. I'm a big fan of Kanye's videos but this one leaves a lot to be desired. One minute Kanye is chilling decked out in all white when all of a sudden a group of tribesman appear banging on drums. Confusing, to say the least. Take a look and judge for yourself and let us know what you think.

Kanye Is A 'Champion'

Kanye West's music videos have always been a visual delight. The man has always created videos that are innovative, fresh, and fun. His latest video is no exception. Kanye's latest visual treat comes from 2007's Graduation. 'Champion,' an amusing ode to the Olympic games, finds Kanye transformed into a sock puppet dubbed 'Air Yeezy,' an athlete competing in the fictitious 'Unified Games.' Yes, 'Air Yeezy' walks away victorious, Kanye West wouldn't have it any other way.
