TV One Premieres New Music Series
For every major star in the world of black music there are countless other singers who built a loyal black fan base but never achieved cross-over commercial success TV One has unveiled a new series, UnSung, that "profiles some of the most influential, talented yet forgotten R&B, Soul and Gospel artists of the 1970s, '80s and '90s." Season 1 premieres Thanksgiving day and takes a look at the careers and personal lives of Donny Hathaway, DeBarge, The Clark Sisters, and Phyllis Hyman. Check out the preview below.
